Upgraded to Windows 7 and now it won't let me install printer

When downloading a printer driver from HP you will need to ensure that you are selecting the correct OS (eg. Windows 7) and the appropriate version (eg. 64 or 32 bit operating system). These drivers are different and using one on the other will not work.
Windows XP drivers also will not work properly in a Windows 7 environment and the majority of Windows XP drivers are 32-Bit.

Install DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver The physical memory should be at least 1 GB

Unfortunately, the internal hardware of the webcam does not match the requirements of these operating systems.
Therefore we cannot provide a software upgrade (driver upgrade) to support Windows Vista or Windows 7.

If you cannot find a Windows 7 printer driver from the HP WEB site, then HP consider this printer too old or incompatible with Windows 7. They would like you to upgrade and purchase a new printer.

I assume you are trying to use the CD that came with your printer.
Try the driver that is available by download on the HP website.

when we install oparating system then install same oparating systems supporting driver.you must be install windows 7 support all hardware driver.you get support this web side.

It seems that the driver was not compatible with windows 7 operating system but only few manufacturer produces driver for their hardware for windows 7 but  I have seen many hardware driver meant for windows vista work in windows 7.
