Blank screen when i switch wii on nothing comes up on screen although still makes same noises and everything and will take a disc in and eject it no probs have connected anouther wii up which works perfect.

same, accepts discs fine but any one else notice weird noises upon startup, instead of the usual boot up sound? Not the AV cable! Red light comes on when I plug it in. When I press power the light turns green, the drive flashes it's blue light and I can hear the drive mechanism cycle. It will accept disks and eject them.

But....No sound and no display at any time.
