It is likely the push pull solenoid at the upper right of (facing) machine.
My machine was pumping coffee for cappuccino and special cups from the wrong spout (center spout) vs left spout.
I opened up the machine and found this solenoid which is supposed to push a lever that switches the flow of coffee between center and left spouts.
In my machine the solenoid wasn't working. Three potential causes of failure: 1) solenoid is stuck (mechanical issue) 2) solenoid failed or 3) power to the solenoid failed.
In my case it was 1) solenoid was stuck. I used a needle nose pliers to grab the nub of the solenoid push shaft and pull it out. You may need a butter knife to pry it out enough for the pliers to have something to grab. I moved the shaft in and out a few times, put the machine back together and I was back in business.
That's the short version. While I had the machine open I tested resistance across the solenoid using my ohm meter, and current to the solenoid during the left rinse cycle, ruling out both electrical causes. This was fortunate because I couldn't figure out how to remove the solenoid.
Good luck!
I am experiencing the same problem, so any assistance welcome..
