The advice given here is totally incorrect. Please ignore Azraelsrl solution. Being incorrect makes it very dangerous!!!
Blue or black = Neutral red or brown = phase green or green/yellow = earth.
If in doubt, you should get a qualified electrician to replace the cord to your iron. Getting it wrong... can easily kill someone!!!

Actually as long as the grounding wire (the yellow/green) is correctly identified there is no danger whatsoever in switching the faze and null wires. If it would been otherwise you would be in mortal danger every time you would plug it in the mains.

The wires from the power cord ? If yes then: blue = faze, brown = neutral, yellow and green = ground.

It suddenly quits...i have to juggle the line cord to have a power.

Sounds like a loose connection from the screws inside the housing of the iron. It is a wee bit of a bugger to get INTO this iron, but with a little patience, and a screwdriver (phillips, the + one) you should be able to get to where the power cord connects to the terminals inside the iron. Loosen, and retighten the connection. If the wire seems 'worn', you may have to cut it back a bit and score off some of the plastic, and re-wire.
