There are locking tabs, if you can get a thin a putty knife in between the 2 parts of the shell, in good lighting you can see the first one, and you can press the tab in with a small screw driver which should release it, from there it is a matter of finding the rest of them. Starting from a corner, chack about 2 to 3 inches from the corner. They will be located in a symetric manner.
Your HP w2207 monitor has support for both VGA and DVI inputs. This therefore means that you can connect your HP TouchSmart IQ770 PC via either of these two connectors.
VGA is the blue coloured port on the rear of your monitor. DVI is the white coloured rectangular port located on the rear of your monitor.
DVI is the better connection of the two as it is a digital connection, so use this one if you can, alternatively you can use the blue coloured VGA cable to connect your monitor to your computer.
It all depends on which output, either DVI or VGA is found on your Computer. Remember VGA is the Blue coloured port and DVI is the blue coloured port.
Look at the rear of the computer.
There will be different coloured jack plug sockets.
The speaker out is green and the mic. in is pink.
There may be other colours, these are for multi speaker (3.1 5.1 +) setups.
Your manual should give you a diagram
All the colours on the screen are created by "mixing" the 3 "primary" colours (red, blue, green).
Once the production of "green" ceases, anything that should be "100% green" becomes "100% black",
and every colour that indicates some percentage of "green" becomes a mixture of just RED and BLUE, i.e., various shades of PINK.
First, try the monitor on another computer (desktop or laptop). If the problem persists, it's time to replace the monitor. If the problem vanishes, it's the video-card in your computer that is not generating GREEN, or it is the "data" cable between your monitor and your computer that is not transmitting the GREEN request. So, you can try replacing the data-cable, or try replacing the video-card.
check screen light is it light green/yellow or is it orange in colour.....if it is orange check PC is turned light green also....if not then it defined that their is a problem with your PC itself and not the screen......have a technician looked @ your PC.....
Sounds like you don't have a stable connection. Try shutting down PC, and disconnect the monitor, and reconnect it, and turn PC back on, then turn the monitor on...
It is possibly your video card that is having the fits. Try replacing your video card or have your CPU checked... It is not a problem with the monitor, rather a problem with the computer...
You could check your DPI setting in the display, being a large monitor your DPI setting shoul be up around the 75 - 85 Hertz. To access this Control Panel --> Display --> Settings --> Advanced --> Monitor and then click the drop down box and see what the DPI is set to and keep trying the different options until it is clear. Hope this helps.
