Hard to say exactly, but it sounds like you may have debris in the squirrel cage for the blower and has stopped it or the squirrel cage came off and the motor is running. Is air coming out anywhere?

The Air conditioner compressor is seizing when the compressor clutch trys to engage. When you put on the defroster the air conditioner automatically comes on to take humidity out of air.
yes there is a blend air door that mixes a/c with the heated air and it sounds like it is out of adjustment the other thing is the heater core could be plugged
