The issus is this:
We have replaced the lamp cause the red light was flashing three times and that is what the manual instructs us to do. (The lamp replacement happened after the television was shutting down due to overheating.) So we did. Now the television still dont work. It also told us to try and clean the back of the tv, and we did. Then the tv would turn on and stay on for up to 1-3 mins. then u hear a click in the back and it shuts down, and the red light stays flashing. We need some help. I can not afford o keep paying people that are not actually fixing the problem..

Did you clean the air filter? Sounds like a thermal problem due to a plugged air filter.

We are having the same problem. Replaced the lamp and still does not turn on, Power flashes red 3 times and nothing. I am going to try the fan/air filter cleaning as I don't hear the fan go on.
Any other ideas would be great!!!
