I have a samsung 50 in. DLP PBO2. I have black specs all over the screen and a few white one. Whats wrong?

This is a failure of the DMD board. The DMD board is the device that has the "million little mirrors" that compose each pixel of your display. The black specs are mirrors that are stuck in the off posistion therefore not reflecting any light at all. The white specs are the opposite reflecting light all of the time. This is a repair you should leave to a TV technician as once this board is repalced there is some electrical and mechanical alignment needed. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...

I have been bought a Samsung DLP 50" in 2006, now is starting in left side of TV display a black vertical shadow with 4 inch of width.

The model of this DLP TV is SP-50L3HR. Behind of push bottom of ON -OFF there is a deveice with a mirror, where I do not know if this deveice is DMD or not, so this mirror has 29 x 34 x 3 mm and it contain double face mirror in its. Is it the DMD device?

How can I buy a new one to replace it with problem?
