Flavel milano e50. Why does everything except the oven work?

Check the circuit breaker for the oven. 220 volts are necessary for the heating element. 110 volts for the light and clock controls. The 220 volt breaker looks like two side by side breakers with their trip levers joined. Sometimes one will trip without tripping the other. Try resetting the breaker or better yet replace it.

While preheating my electric frigidaire smooth top oven, we heard a loud pop and saw a flash. The breaker had tripped. After resetting it, the clock and digital features still work, and so does the st

I appreciate your inquiry, Stephanie Givan!

From what you are describing it sounds like a possible short with your breaker box or issue with your terminal block within your Frigidaire range. I would recommend reaching out to a professional technician for a proper diagnosis to be completed. The technician will have the correct tools to check for any electrical issues within the range to make sure the correct component is being replaced. This will help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

How to reset frigidaire stove after self cleaning

Hi - Try resetting the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately 30 seconds and turn on the unit. Start range, if it does not turn on then the temperature had tripped the internal sensor of the unit and needs to be reset. This usually has to be done by a professional since the back panel needs to be taken off and the power reset inside. Possibly the unit may have a communication problem with the EOC and I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.

Stove top is working but neither the broiler nor bake is working. Cannot bale anything but the stove top cookers are fine. What could be the problem

Stoves are wired for 220 volt, but the range top will operate on 110 volt so your Breaker should be a single 220 volt breaker but can be achieved using two 110 volt breakers if one of the breakers blow the range top may still operate but the oven will not. So my suggestion is to Check your breakers to see if you are operating on two 110 volt breakers and one is possibly tripped.

Frigidaire gallery stove, oven not working,

Morison,
The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

How do i reset the oven after a power failure?

If your oven won't heat at all, the most likely problem is a blown fuse or a burnt out element. Assuming you're not attempting to repair an antique, your oven will have a clock. If it has also stopped working, it's safe to assume the oven is not getting electricity. Check your circuit breaker box and reset the breaker if necessary and see if this fixes the problem. If not, cut power to the oven at the breaker box before going any further. Note that your oven runs on 220 volts. There should be a double switch on the circuit breaker board controlling power to it. If not, there will be two single switches that need to be tripped to cut power to the oven.
Even if you didn't find a blown circuit breaker, the problem could still be a blown fuse. Some older ovens have their own set of fuses located under the range top, in the back of the oven space, or behind the oven. Inspect the fuses and replace any that have blown with one of the same amperage. Your oven might also have a circuit breaker with a reset button on the control console or on top of the oven that needs to be reset.
If you are still confounded, pull the oven away from the wall. If it is a range/oven combo, make sure it is plugged securely into the wall. If it is a stand-alone oven, inspect the wiring in the junction box to make sure everything is tightly connected and the wiring doesn't show any signs of damage.

Element blew in oven; now stove doesn't work....

Sounds like the loose oven element caused a short circuit, which may have fried a wire inside the range. Or, it may have tripped the circuit breaker (or blown the fuse) for the range circuit. Check your electrical panel. If the circuit is open, don't reset it until you've removed the remnants of the oven element.

Electric Dbl Wall Oven-loud popping noise at end of self clean

Bill ,i dont suspect the control unit is the problem im going back to the loud pop you heard I would say the pop you heard was one of the elemants blowing and that the reason the the breaker tripped if you say the clock, timer and light functon are ok it more so points to an elemant in most cases when an elemant blows it breaks the circuit .but the other componants also work when you reset the breaker i think in this case bill i would call a electrician it needs testing, sorry i could not help this time bill, but do not hesatate to contact me if i can help you again.adrian
