Check the door latches that stick out from the door. Push them up. Is there any resistance? If not, then the spring that pulls them downward either broke or came of its catches. You will need to call a repairman who will have to take the door apart and either replace or re-fasten that spring.

I would suspect either the bottom or top door switch, or that switch's mount is loose, broken, or misaligned.

If you had posted the full model number, i probably could have told you which switch.

Unless there is a fault with your microwave, simply press SETTINGS, then 5 then 2 to switch the child lock OFF. To switch it back ON press SETTINGS then 5 then 1.

Your microwave is shot ,time for a new one.

Call for service. Working on a mocrowave door requires specialized test equipment for safety reasons.

Check for a shorted lamp. When you open the door, often they turn on the light.

Another thing is look for wiring being scrapped by door hinges.

High voltage parts are suspect. You are looking at replacing either the magnatron or the high-voltage capacitor and diode. Its affordable if you do it yourself - buy the part on EBAY - lookup "universal magnatron"
