My blackberry 8330 will not cut on....for a second it was displaying a red light...i took the battery out and put it back in and now theres nothing

First, to check if there is water damage inside the phone, you can check the water mark sticker.
When you take the back piece off your phone, on the left of the battery inside a rectangle shaped cut-out in the plastic, you will see a little square. If it is red/pink this means there is definitely water damage, if its white then no water has reached that part of your phone. Unfortunately if its turned red or pink Blackberry will not repair it free of charge.
That being said, you can try completely submerging your phone in a bowl of rice. This will draw the moisture out and hopefully get your phone in working condition again, this has worked for myself and many friends.

remove the scroll ball ring and look inside. there should be a sticker and see if its red. If it is then there is liquid damage to the phone.

Doing a contact & message backup then wipe might reset it to a earlier state

with the red lcd light blinking it means there is a software issue try syncing it with your blackberry desktop manager the application loader if that doesnt work u will need to contact you service provider for replacement options

try turning off your phone and remove the battery and wait for some seconds and put the battery back in, now turn it on and check.

Pull the battery out and put back in. Then hit the reset button on back panel.

Pull the battery out, wait 60 seconds and put it back in.

Try loadiong the SOFTWARE in the phone without battery in the phone 1st. If everything goes ok, You should get an incomplete flash message on the Blackberry Desktop and your phone should display Error 507 when you put the battery back inside. If so then connct it again to the computer and reload the 4.5 software. Then post the results

No solution. This is a dead phone. Sorry.
