I have a Sony XBR KV-32XBR55 bought in 1992. It works great except that we were robbed last weekend. They took the side and top speakers but I guess the tv was too heavy for them. The set does not have any sound now. Do you know where I might get some new speakers?

I have a sony bravia that I bought last month and it will not turn on

If you bought it new (model number indicated here is an older set) take it back----if used set someone will have to open it to see if fuse or power supply is the problem.

Sony KV-20FS120

It's normal for new sets, especially Sonys to do that due to some sort of gas build-up in the new tube. My set still gets a high-pitched buzz after power on and lasts for a minute or two before silencing. If the hissing continues when the TV is turned off return it to the shop ASAP. It could be a problem with the power supply, something getting ready to blow up. Good luck
