How to change font of epson lq-300-ll - Epson LQ 300+ Matrix Printer

The manual says it is best done via the computer software feeding it.

An Epson LQ-2180 is an old dot matrix printer, it cannot be programmed like newer network printers. All it has is a panel in front where you can select a font, the pitch of the font and paper type. There is nothing to reset.

Epson LQ 300 does not have Win7 latest driver. Please use your old PC (xp or visita) to continue with the Epson.

yes you can change the font tray to print the printer internal setting tray that press and hold any key by tarn the printer off then on after you tarn the printer on release the key

have you check the white cable? (from the printer head to the
mainboard) .If the white cable is ok and you confirm that the 
printer head is fine, then the problem is at the mainboard.

most problems like this that i had encountered is at the transistor
at the mainboard. Try to check it out using a multitester.
