Hi. this will be a failed relay on that circuit board. This is called the PCB(main unit power control board). This board controls the compressor relay functions, and the compressor power current, as well. The evaporator fan, and condenser fan, receives their respective current from this power control board, also. When a circuit board of this nature begins to malfunction, it will cause the unit to not cool properly, due to limited, or no fan actions, or a failed compressor cycle. I would recommend to replace this damaged control board, asap.

#1 PROBLEM: My freezer is making strange noises. ... Keep in mind, though, that not all freezers will make exactly the same sound when this ... If everything is working, then the noise is probably just the appliance going ... Frost forming around the freezer door's gaskets indicates the door was not fully closed. .... Sign me up ... I have a Frigidaire freezer LFFU1424DW not freezing. Came home to melting ice and thawed food. I heard clicking noise like a fan but goes off after a few seconds. Help please.

first of all unplug that freezer and wait for 15 mins. move it five feet from the wall. after 15mins, plug it back and kick in compressor at the same time!!!! remember plug and kick at the same time. the ckicking noise come from the starting relais. this says that the compressor has a problem. If it doesn't work ; you will have to call a service person who will replace the compressor for you.

Freezer stopped working.

It might be the compressor making the noise. If it is,the compressor will start/stop frequently. This means that it is tripping on overload due to mechanical damage.Only way to solve this prolem is to replace the compressor (if the freezer is still in a good condition).

I have a servis fridge freezer m7873.yesterday morning the motor became very noisy.by late afternoon it stopped altogether, and everything began to thaw.what do you suggest?

that motor noise if it is the compressor is not a good sign. You will need a service tech to inspect it to make an educated decision on what to do next. I would replace the freezer if it would be cheaper than the repairs

Food thawed, freezer running. I moved packages from in front of air ways and turned thermostat to coldest setting & it didn't change anything, freezer still at 32-33 degrees. help

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air
check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

You can turn the defrost timer till it clicks and everything shuts down. The heater should now come on. If it does, replace the timer. If it doesn't, check the heater and defrost thermostat. Turn the timer again till everything starts back up to end the defrost cycle.
