There are two different dome lights in the supercrew one is connected to the garage door opener and sunglass holder other wise known as map lights. to get these out just simply pull the unit and the blubs unscrew from the back insert the new blubs and replace the unit. the other type depends on the model of f150 you have one is the normal dome light in witch you just pop the cover off and replace the light. the other is just like the front map light where you just pull the unit out and replace the bulbs the same way.

Is there a fuse fro the overhead console

Yes, it is for the interior lights. IF the problem you are having is the compass not working, there is a small diode (three total) on the PCB. One of them comes loose and has to be soldered. I have repaired several of them. Good Luck...Joe C.

High pitch nosie from rear end of 2004 ford f-150 supercrew

Does the sound change while accelerating or decelerating?? If it does i would suspect a carrier bearing or a pinion bearing going bad..If its consistant,,and doesnt change with acceleration or deceleration,,then it may be a axle bearing..

2004 F150 SuperCrew, check engine light flashes, engine runs roughly and shudders. Engine light stays on and the engine goes back to running smoothly.

Flashing CEL is an indication of a misfire. You would need a code scanner to find out which cylinder it is.
The code should be a P030n where n= 1 to 8 ( the cylinder number ). Could be a P0300, which is a misfire indication.

My rear end chatters around corners and if im pulling a trailer my abs light and the wrench shaped light will come on in my 2004 f150 fx4 supercrew

If you have a locking rear diff,it could be the clutches on the side gears or lack of fluid and special additive. Sounds like the wheel speed is off enough on corner,to set the ABS light, when it chatters. Don't over look parking brake and rear caliper issues.

F150 SUPERCREW 4X4 5.4L Got stuck in the snow and

sounds like transmission damaged. if forward gears are operational, suspect transmission failure. If nothing working ( either in 2 or 4 wheel drive) suspect transmission or transfer case.

Outside temp light and compass dont work. what can i do to fix it?

Do the map lights in the overhead console / Illuminated vanity lights work?

This is the same fuse, Cab fuse panel fuse #23 ( hot in run position ).

If the map lights & vanity mirrors on the visors work correctly, it is the solid state module in the overhead console that is the problem ( have seen this, more common on SuperDuty line ).\
