The MX 5000 and diNovo Media Laser utilize the Adjust Time/Date function on your PC's clock to set the keyboard's LCD display. In order for the PC's clock to synchronize with the LCD display, the SetPoint for Bluetooth software is required to be installed and enabled. Once you have installed SetPoint for Bluetooth, the LCD display will automatically sync with the system's clock.
Solution
If your LCD is not displaying the date and time and SetPoint for Bluetooth is not installed:

  1. Download the latest version of SetPoint for your device from the Logitech Downloads page.
  2. Install SetPoint on your system. (For additional information regarding installing SetPoint for Bluetooth, please refer to Knowledge Base article 5890 ).

No date and time is set on the keyboard how do i do this

Maybe you just plugged in the dongle and started using your keyboard and mouse. That works great for some people. Make sure to install the software too to open up more functionality. Once you get to the Logitech website and search for your device, download and install the software. There are many functions that you can play with in there, like if the clock should be updated. Good luck.

I want to set the clock on my keyboard and I do not know what button to push

To adjust the LCD's time and date:
  1. Make sure that the time and date are shown on the LCD. If necessary, press (FN + F9) until the time and date are shown on LCD.
  2. Press (FN + F10). You are now in 'Set mode' (you can exit this at any time by pressing the Esckey).
  3. Set the correct hour by either typing the numbers on the numeric pad or using the cursor up and down keys, followed by Tab or Enter.
  4. Set the correct minutes by either typing the numbers or using the cursor up and down keys, followed by Tab or Enter.
  5. Choose either 12-hour clock or 24-hour clock by pressing the cursor up or down keys to switch between the options. Then press Tab or Enter.
  6. Set the correct month either by typing the numbers or using the cursor up and down keys, followed by Tab or Enter.
  7. Set the correct day either by typing the numbers or using the cursor up and down keys, followed by Tab or Enter.
The time and date on the LCD should now be displayed properly.

Hi, computer repair shop has misplaced my MX5500 Logitech dongle, where can i get another one???

Well I am not able to locate just a dongle shy from calling Logitech - but since a shop was the root cause - they should replace the entire rig and you give them the useless keyboard and mouse and let them deal with a replacement.

Anyway - Here are a few links
