Absolutely NO! Although it may be close, you will find a poor startup just as if the set was still bad. The capacitor you need is of course a 25 volt 1200MF. In this case a 35 volt 1200MF will work. I would suggest in this case a next up voltage with the correct MF. In this case the best sub is the 35 volt 1200MF. Check out Matelectronics.com. or MCM Electronics.com or Mouser Electronics .com. If you have a local Electronic supply store they may have what you need. I do not believe you will find it at Radio Shack. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!

The problem is in ssb. [scale board] I call it the signal board. But briefly part, location 1H00 [color crystal] PN#823827736071 needs replaced. And caps locations 2H08 and 2H09,PN#223886975478 need replaced. Hope this will help you...these are surface mount repairs that require skills!!!!

Replace cap location 2074 which is 25 volt 2200Mf and cap location 2081 which is 35 volt 1200Mf. You can visually see these when you remove the back...Good Luck! PS...be sure they are rated at 105 degrees!!!!

The problem can be in the backlight inverter board (hard to get to), or the main power supply module may not be working. Look at the power supply first since it is easy to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors.

I had the same problem with a Magnavox LCD TV. It would not turn on and the light on the external PSU flashed. I found a replacement 12V 5A power supply on EBAY. It brought the set back to life.

Your set either has a bad SSB (small signal board) or needs a software upgrade. Download the latest software release for your set then follow install instructions that are contained in the user manual for your set.

the color in my tv is a little faded when theres dark scenes on cant really see picture. Red and Blue really fade into picture

Disconnect the LVDS Cable that runs from the small signal board to the display panel and apply power,if the screen comes on,the Small signal board (aka Scaler Bd ) is the faulty board. other than that,all that's really left that has gone bad for me is the logic board.
