There's a problem on the power supply board inside the TV.

Green light of death, capacitors have to be replaced but it probably wont fix it anyways. Once this happens the TV is completely useless.

There are 7 capacitors that need replacing in you digital module, it is located on the left hand side facing the back of the set. After opening the module there is a small power board inside, replace all 1000uf 16volt capaictors with 680uf 16volt capaictors. After replacing them there will be a small green led on the board that lights inside the digital unit. it will flash then go steady if all is ok with the set after replacing these capacitors. After this is done the power light up front will blink about 30 secs then go off. Turn on the television and happy viewing...

2 blinks followed by 1 blink is the X-Ray protection-----means some problem in the High voltage circuit ---set produces over 25 thousand volts to fire the 3 picture tubes inside up----It could be excessive high voltage-------I think you would have to get lucky for someone to find and fix it in your home----more likely it will need a visit to a Repair shop.

Check your warranty for the unit. Then call Samsung to see I they can help.

Green light keeps bleeking and tv won't turn on at all.

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.

The "green light flashing to the chirping" circuit may be defective.

Not a basic diagnosis--service literature and/or knowledge of each green light circuit will be needed.Possible shop repair.
