I found chargers and batteries for this camera by searching Amazon for "polaroid t831". There are also cheap universal chargers that will charge any small camera or phone battery, like THIS ONE

Most cameras don't charge from the USB cable.

I've had good results buying stuff like that on eBay from vendors in Hong Kong. Do a search on eBay with your camera model number and arrange the results by price plus shipping, lowest first. Buy from someone with excellent feedback ratings.

go to ebay.com search Polariod t831 , it should be a cord with a little silver box at the end you slip the battery into the little box,but be careful make sure it is an A/C cord or you might be getting a car charger, the light will be red at first and when it turns green it will be charged. The usb cable is to put the pictures on your computer. Hope this helps you..
