I was looking for a code for a new directv remote to operate a new polaroid lcd
Slide top button on remote to tv. Press and hold mute and select button until the green light on the remote blinks twice. Then press 991. Then press 1. Then press the tv power button once. If the tv doesn't respond hit the channel up button on the remote. If that works press select to store the code and slide the switch back to the left. If it doesn't work keep hitting channel up until it does. It can take up to 30 minutes but it works.
Programming Directv remote (RC24).
This worked for my Polaroid LCD when printed codes did not work:
1. Slide switch over to TV and press Select & Mute as before.
2. Enter 9-9-1-1 for your code.
3. Point remote at TV and press Chanel Up button continously, a new code is tried each time CH button is pressed.
4. When TV turns off, press Select and release on remote.
5. Volume and Pwr keys now work on remote
For DIRECTV RC16, RC23, RC24 Remotes, try codes 10765, 10865, 11262, 11276, 11314, 11316, 11326, 11327, 11328, 11341 for polaroid TVs.

Polaroid is not listed for remote programing TV codes for DIRECTV. I am trying to program the remote for a Polaroid LCD-1700.
i also need codes for polaroid tv for DTV remote
try 11523 or search direct tv forums,click on first web site,click on demos & how to,then click equiment,then click your remote control,click on program your remote control. this will bring up a code search engine. you will need your remote control model #, and tv brand and model #. this has worked every time for me.
Just purchased a Poloroid HDTV and cannot get my DirecTV remote (RC23) to work for anything but the channels, info, guide, escape, etc.
Seems everything works but mute, volume and on/off.
Have followed instructions in troubleshooting guide in Direct TV manual, but no dice. Also cannot find programming code for Poloroid.

I have Time Warner cable and DVR/PVR 5-DEVICE remote. I can't turn the TV on or work the volume with my remote. Time Warner help desk was no........ wait for it..... guess.....HELP. I know now that each of you reading this have a surprised look on your face. Please help.

Polaroid and Element are made by the same manufacturer. If you can find a code for Element you should be good to go. I just tried it and it worked.
Polaroid and ELEMENT are made by the same manufacturer. If you can find a code for ELEMENT you should be good. Comast did have a code for ELEMENT and it worked.
