I would say this will be resolution problem.
Lower the resolution on the secondary monitor and try again.

Dymo 210D one month old. Stuck on extra small font size. Tried taking batteries out and turning on and off 15 times. Still stuck?

Its probably not stuck-it looks like extra small is the only font available for 1/4 inch tape. I put 1/2 inch tape in and was able to access the other fonts. If you print out the 1/4 inch with extra small font there is hardly any clear border space

Have a 23 inch p235h hd monitor for windows 7 with hdmi hooked up and can not get to use whole screen still has border around it

most like you are not using the native format of the resolution of the screen, it will adjust and not use the whole dimension.

check the manual and then the settings on the computer

Screen resolution change = black border around small screen

Once you change the resolution to a smaller size and you see the black border, go into the monitor's menu and there should be settings for the Horizontal and Vertical size/position. Adjust those until it looks correct.

I hope this helps :)

Best Regards,
