Iv been given loads of unlocking codes for my nokia 6300 thats locked on orange im in the uk the message after entering a code says canot undo resriction and then it says phone restricted so iv been told i may need to use a usb cable so how can i unlock my phone useing a cable can you help

Palmer25 not 5 codes but only 3, 5 was long time ago before bb5 come to the market.
The BB5 calculator requires a hardware reset and is not done via imei
You cannot use the * + 3 + send combination, that is for s60 phones. i have search for bb5 calculator but they can't also make a code for 6300..poor thing..
Hi.u have only 5 tries with the codes.after that only way to unlock phone is to use cables

You only get 5 goes at entering the codes out of 7 that the calculator provides, for Sim restriction. You should start with number 7 ten if it didn't work go to number 1, 2, 3, then 4.
If your phone is completely blocked. Your only option is to try the service provider.
Or Maybe just maybe try this:
Try a reset:
First turn it OFF, take the SIM card out.
Press * 3 send at the same time, then turn phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.
1 - Switch on your Nokia 6300 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia 6300.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 - The Nokia 6300 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!
Note :For Nokia 6300 mobile phones locked to the network Fido or Rogers in Canada follow these instructions :
1 - Switch on your Nokia 6300 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia 6300.

4 - The Nokia 6300 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!
The letter p appears if you press the button star(*) three times quickly
The letter w appears if you press the button star(*) four times quickly
