I have found that in alot of cases that these units stall on scanner bulb warming because the scanner cannot find home. do you hear a noise like the carriage motor contnues to just move a little bit? what happens is this the ccd knows its home by the brightness of the refected light off of the white carriage home strip on the back side of the glass cover its reflected to a photo cell which is tripped telling the ccd its home. if the bulbs the white strip or the mirrors inside the ccd get a light dusting of dirt on them they dimm this light and the photo cell will not be triped thus creatiing this problem. with a flash light you can see if these mirrrors are fogged. clean them with a q-tip and alcohol. about 65% this fixes it.

Phaser 7750 Not Printing, No Error codes, Fuser Wont Warm Up, Wont Detect Open Trays or Doors

It sounds like one of the cover or tray sensors is not working correctly. Check the actuator on the fuser cover, sometimes these break off so the printer thinks the cover is still open. If that seems ok and you have a lower tray deck unplug it to eliminate them as the cause.

I have a 99 nissan quest after it warms up 20 min or so, it dies and wont start for 20-30 minutes, then runs 15-20 min and does the same thing.

not sure about your vehicle but it sounds like a coil when they go bad they heat up and open so the engine will get no spark , it's a cheap try.

Grid pattern on Canon MP760 test print is patchy and cleaning process does not fix it.

You can try to remove the print head and ink cartridges.
Soak the head in an ammonia10-20% solution with warm water for 30-45 min.
Dry the head completely and re-install.Now run your grid patter,
It sonds like(from the grid reference)that only the black is clogging. This is a pigmented ink and tend to dry if not used for months at a time.

Won't print PRIXMA iP1500 Going through the actions of printing but no ink appear on paper. Deep cleaning done, reset done, new cartridge done, alignment printing done, still no ink.. and it did print a...

If using aftermarket inks you sometimes have to rap them on a paper towel to break an air lock.If you see ink coming out after rapping them try to print again. If nothing comes out you may have a bad print head or purge pump.
Try cleaning the head (without cartridges)in a 10-20% ammonia warm water mixture for 30-45 min.
Completely dry the head before returning it to printer.
