Amplify the song with Nero Wave editor, from menu, VOLUME -> Volume change and go up to +10 db but not more.
My Solution.... Get a new phone! I have the shine and I hate it. I can't hear anyone when they call, and can barely hear the phone when it rings. I have tried louder ringtones, and it doesn't work. The joystick is a pain in the *** to use as well!

when the speaker phone is on, try pushing the up arrow, unless you have the button on the side, But I think it is the up arrow while talking.
Also go into regular menu settings, go to sound settings, speaker volume and headset volumes should both be turned all the way up.

canit hear it ring
I have all my setting on maximum volume but the music isn't that loud and I would like the ring to be louder.
Cant hear adequately from my Lg shine Ke970 although on maximum, read previous reviews werent any good. What to do?

LG SHINE start date: 2 Sept 08. The highest volume level is 7 which equates to about volume level 1 or 2 on my old Sony Ericcson W600i. If customer care has solutions tomorrow, that will be good news. If not, I will need to return the phone. Though I set the volumes to the highest level, I did not realize the phone was ringing in an adjoining room (no doors or walls). I could faintly hear the phone when I walked into that room. The Volume is a 100% disappointment from my Sony Ericcson. I could not hear any of my three incoming calls distinctly. The phone is VERY pretty and easy to play with, but phone volume and the alarm volume are most important to me.
