My mp3 player wont turn on even when i plug it into the computer. i just bought it in october

Hi it very much sounds like the on board batttery is not charged up, (not charging) hence when you plug into the PC it gets it supply from the USB 5Volts and plays as normal

You can try to plug it into a wall plug using the charger that should have come with the mp3

Have you tried to reset? The reset button is right by the lock switch. It's small so use a pin or something small like that.

you might not have turned the power on your mp3 player some of them require you turn them on

My friend give me a sansa mp3 player BB0703UBB. When i charge it in my PC and i forgot to unplug sansa mp3 player BB0703UBB after half hour i plug it. But the power is not working. i cannot open and play it anymore. I try to insert it on my PC but then it says unknown device. HELP!

Try to reset it thats what i did for my Daughters and then it worked.

if you did not charged it properly you could of just messed it up so just call the company they should fix it for free

Try plugging the unit directly into the computer tower and not use the extension cable, plug it directly into one of the rear ports on your computer. This unit actually hardly ever breaks because its a simple flash drive.

Try manually reseting the player:

press and hold the Select button while pressing the Volume Up (+) buttons simultaneously.

Also, after doing so, try connecting it to the computer, and leaving it for about 5 mins to see if you can get a charge. Then turn it on, if that works, you just need to charge your battery.

if that doesn't work, return and exchange it since you just bought it.

I have heard so mant people have this problem creative should just recall the player cause they wont fix it
