When you press the menu button there should be a 'language' choice tab. If the menu is in Russin I would suggest that either write down all of the choices and have them translated to determine which says language. OR, go down to each tab and enter it using the up down arrow keys to step to the next tab and the right arro key to enter each tab untill you find the you that gives choices in languages of the choice. ie/ English, Espanol, ....These choices are writen in that language. Select english and go from there.

you may have changed your primary language to russian.
regardless of the language used, you may still be able to find the setting to change it back, since the locations of the settings would not have changed..
if you use google chrome, you could easily ask it to translate the page automatically back to english for you.. and then navigate to My Account - Settings - Language - & choose english as your primary language.

one way for to solve this problem can be typing in Google: FREE TRANSLATOR, and another way is to change the TV´s IC Eprom. Because I suppose that you was trying enter to user´s menu in the tv and choise the option lenguage.

pls try to hard reset the device pls backup ur data b4 doing it and take out ur memory card also and see if it gives u screen to select the language to english , other wise u need english rom from www.htc.com just go and download an updated rom from the site and do as directed


hard rest factory default settings = when ur set is switched off press both buttons call and end key and then press power button on upside of pda for like 5 sec screen will appear asking to format all data take out ur card if u dont want to format that now confirm by pressing the centre action button in 4 side joystick and go

if not solved then go to www.htc.com for latest English Rom update download and update backup ur data first
