Try following steps to get your cell unlocked with out even putting password after you unlock it reser your phone:

Press Right Selection Key to enter unlock screen where you are asked to put pass code.
Press Left Selection Key to go back to stand by screen.
Again Press and hold Right Selection key till you are prompted [Now press *].
Press [*] immediately as you are prompted while releasing Right Selection Key.

Your cell is unlocked.

Keypad lock:

To lock the keypad press Menu then Star (*) key.
To unlock the keypad press Unlock (Menu key) then Star (*).

To remove the auto keypad lock on your phone. Go to the menu, then you select the select the settings, from the list select phone settings/phone, then select automatic keyguard, then you turn it off.

Hi, you can download this user guide manual for nokia 1600 from this website https://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/guides/Nokia_1600_UG_en.pdf

If you dint assign any keyguard code... it must be12345 by default.

1600 KEYGUARD CODE

phone has a user lock code that you probably have forgotten........... only two ways out................ 1) try remembering the code or 2) your phone should be read by software where the code can be seen and then entered. by the way the default code of all Nokia phones is 12345 try this and if it doesn't work then you have changed it so the two option are given
