This happens when you insert fake cartridges in HP. usually i think higher products of HP dont accept fake cartridges.
Go for vivera inks. they are genuine HP inks.
or look out for pin in the cartridge area. as it may not be settled properly

On my samsung fax sf5100 machine there has been a new ink cartridge installe dand the machine is still asking to insatll new cartridge , do i need to tell the machine new cartridge installed if so how

you will see there is a fuse on the cartridge. replace it with a new one. it can be biger becouse you will remove it again.
put the cartrige back with other fuse and close door for 3 secons. take cartridge out and remove the fuse.
put cartrige back with out the fuse. it sould work.

the other way is to push setup and then # 1934.
push setup again check for new cartrige or egnore cartrige.
swich m/c off and on.

My Epson c88 was working fine. I changes ink cartridges and now the black will not print.

Your printer head may be closed.To remove the problem jast open ink cartrige from the cartrige chamber. set a seringe with full of black ink into the plustic pin which are tidely insert in the ink cartrige. After push 2/3 time your printer work fine again.

Remove "Toner Empty" message

1- press MENU #1934 and it show you "TECH"
2- Press MENU, Acept. and it show you "Tech Mode"
3- Press < once. and it show you "NEW CARTRIDGE"
4- Press Acept. [YES].
5- Press Acept
6- Press MENU #1934 to exit "TECH MODE"


Note: Don't wait when press #1934. Do this quick.

I replaced my ink cartrige , it keeps telling me

Make the the cartridge is seated properly and the contacts are not dirty or soiled form touching them.You can remove the cartridge and clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol gently and ley dry.

I'm trying to replace black color cartridge, but get an error message: carrier jam How do I unjam it? Already did the unplug- check for paper jam and replug...no luck!

Remove all paper...(inspect closely for paper jammed way inside!)

also remove both ink cartriges, reinsert them one at a time carefully and properly....also double check the number code on the ink

the jam error could be either paper or cartriges confusing the printer. let me know if it works....k

Keeps giving instruction remove and check color cartridge

OK this issue needs to be resolved in a different manner take all the ink cartriges and after they are removed unplug the power cable from the back of the printer and after that press and hold the # and 6 button at the same time ,while holding it plug in the power cable back in the printer then as it turns back on release the buttons the printer will perform a reset within itself ,it is called a semi-full reset after it is done insert the cartridges back into the printer it will align the cartridges after that the issue should be resolved if not then there is some problem in the ink cartriges and replace them still if it does not work notify me and do let me know this issue gets resolved or not.....

You are having a hardware issue with the product, the sensor for the printhead is damage that's why you are getting general error. call epson for support so that they can give you a discount for a new product, hope this helps..

remove the cartridge and see if it goes away, if does then you probably have a defective cartridge are are not inserting it correctly.
