I have a kicker sx650 powering two kicker cvr 102 at 2ohms but i havve no clue on where to set the settings at and i know this amp should make these subs pound. i need to know exactly what to put each...

How I tune:
turn amp all way down or disconnect rcas for now, turn up stereo to a song with some bass you listen to and crank it as loud as you would (not max about 3/4, use this to tune inside speakers (don't have bass maxed/distortion...)). Now dial in amp: turn up a bit probably to 1/4 or so then tune frequency I'd usually say around 100hz, then adjust gain again to where it sounds good...be easy on them for awhile to let them break in (don't blast them all day!). Usually bass boost is only 1 frequency with a curve (40hz or something)...so I try to not use it much....

I have 2 different subs in one box, a 12" MTX thunder and a 12" Kicker CVR. the kicker is a dual voice coil while the MTX I dont believe is. Can I use one amp for this set up? And how would it be wired?

im guessing both speakers are 4 ohms ..mtx 4ohms and kicker dual 4ohms..now if your amp can go down to 1 ohm wiring the kicker dual coils in parallel (2ohms) and the mtx connected together (4ohms) should leave you with a final impedance between 1 and 2 ohms ...i suggest you use one or get another

What's the best way to hook up PA3000DB to a Kicker 15' CVR to get the most bass possible....

Honestly, if you have to ask, you should have a pro do it for you.
The few bucks you spend on installation may save a lot of money in burned out woofers and amps and wires etc.etc.

I have 2 18" kicker

First you need the OHM rating of the subs. Most of the time its on the box or the magnet on the back of the subs (normaly 2ohm 4ohm or 8ohm) And that of the amp. Most amps are 4 ohm output if its a 2channel and 2ohm output if its a mono. You NEED to know these cuz wiring it wrong can blow channels in your amp or cause it to cut "in and out"

How to hook up two 10" kicker cvr for best sound

If they are single voice coil and are 4 ohm you can bridge your amp and run both speakers off of it so your amp sees a 2 ohm load....better bass that will hit harder....(series wiring) look it up on google....

How do i wire 10' kicker cvr

dual 2 or dual 4

dual 2 wire vc's in series for a 4 ohm load each. Hook each speaker seperate channels on the amp.

dual 4 wire vc in series for an 8 ohm load each. Hook both + to the right + on the amp and both - to the left - on the amp. or

dual 4 wire vc in parallel for a 2 ohm load each and hook each speaker to seperate channels on the amp.

Well it could be that your ears just got used to the bass. It happend to me after about a week of haveing my subs. And make sure that your power wire hasnt got melted somewhere. also that you have good ground.

My kicker amp turns off

It sounds like you may have the load impedance too low. How many voice coils per woofer? How many ohms is each coil? If you have DVC woofers, are the coils for each woofer wired in series or parallel? Are the speakers wired in series or parallel. Let me know if you need me to clarify anything.
