I have a Sony model KF-50WE610 tv. We moved it today and once it was set back up the picture is black and white. I have checked all connections, cables, and signal and nothing makes a difference. It is...

The cables connected are in the wrong spaces, either on the receiver or the television. Using component style cables, Green, Red, Blue for video, and White, Red for audio, one of the video cables is in the wrong spot. Using RCA type cables, Yellow for video, White, Red for audio, the Yellow is inserted into a green component somewhere. The ViP 722 is compatible with HDMI, which has a much higher resolution (1080p max with the ViP 722) and a better refresh rate (the ViP 722 max is 30Mhz), and as there is only one cable for both audio and video, is much easier to use, if your TV is compatible, you should look into using HDMI instead,

TV switch to live tive when wtaching recorded program

Hi there anil! My name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH, It is my pleasure to assist you. When watching an already recorded event and having a timer set up to record it should not interrupt your viewing of that DVR event. When this happened, did you get an error message on the screen? And has this happened again? Please reach me at: [email protected] with the details.

My dvr 722 is slow in playing back or stops from a prior recording. Do you have a solution?

Hi jrodd1 my name is Mike Houston of DISH Network, if the 722 DVR isslow in play back and stops prior to recording there are some things you can doto get this working right. The first thing you want to do is unplug thereceiver for 10 seconds and plug it back in. This will allow for the receiverto require the signal and will stop the slow play back and stops prior torecording a program. I will send a link to help with these steps. http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/video

Dish vip 622 and vip 722k frequent picture freeze and restart

Sounds like a signal strength issue. You may have either a low signal or something like a tree limb is blowing into the signal path dropping the signal strength to a point low enough to causes issues.

DishViP DVR cuts off recorded shows

Reset the DVR and it "found" the rest of the program recording. Not sure of the reason for the loss, but resetting works to correct it.

I want to record to a external hard drive in order to take to Ira

If you have a dish network system as listed in post a DVR 625 this is NOT possible, it will only work with VIP series Dish Network recivers. and they must be used on teh same model reciever such as Vip 722, tranfer to EXT HD then Watch on another 722!

Dish VIP 612 breaks up when playing back recorded shows.

Edy, I am not going to say that this is the definite issue but Dish only has receivers that are 1080i compatible at the time which will give you some blurring and possible pixellating. 1080p will resolve these issues in the future. Therefore if you still need help let me know.
