My ENV Touch has horrible battery! I will charge it ovenright (8 hours) and it will say charge complete. But then i will unplug it, and when i start texting or go to the camera , it goes down to 2 or 1...

Your phone is charging just fine. It's the battery that is to blame. Purchase a new battery from your choice of local vendors and the problem will be solved. Also, try not to charge it (With the new battery) until the charge is low. This will help prolong battery life.

Shutting off

Hi,The problem is a power problem which i think is from the battery of your phone,here is my solution;

1.Visit the nearest LG shop to purchase a new battery for your phone.

2.Insert the battery into your phone and charge the battery for at least 5hrs before using your phone.

This ought to solve the problem but if the problem persists,it means the problem is from the battery contact to the phone which needs to be adjusted or fixed by a qualified mobile phone engineer located in you area

Take care

Compaq Presario v2000 notebook reduced battery life

you may try:
1) check the battery alarm at windows power managment, to set 5-10% alarm level.
2) discharge the battery to the empty then charge longer time, you need monitoring how long it charged (see charge lights change), need to change new one if charging time much less then before(less then 10-20 minutes)..
3) plug-in AC adapter monitoring charging current,
this step you need a current meter to make a series connection in the circuite, the battery is over life cycle if the current less then 500mA.

Phone Shuting Down

My Env was doing the same thing. I took out the battery and cleaned the connection points on both the battery and the phone with alcohol. Also make sure the snap that keeps the battery in place has no slop in it.

My daughter's LG EnV charging port

You can get a charger at factorydirectcellular.com. The link is
http://www.factorydirectcellular.com/home/universal/universal-battery-only-charger.htm

The charger charges the battery independent of the phone. It is the only one I have found and it works GREAT. I had a couple issues at first but the rep, Matt, bent over backwards to resolve them. I would recommend this charger and company to anybody. The charger is a universal charger and will charge other cell phone batteries as well. The only con is that it does take a little longer to charge than using the port.
