Lagging in Guitar Hero and now others

Just got Wii and Guitar Hero for Xmas. Very soon after starting to play, guitar hero started lagging (ie - the notes start comming before music starts). I erased the game data; it worked till I was about halfway through a career and started lagging again. I've also been having some lagging probelms with Trauma Center now too. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Snap~ HDTV don't have 480p. But HDTVs are now for lag if they aren't set up properly.

What kind of TV do you have? I've noticed that when I played GH 3 on my plasma TV it lagged until I calibrated it. You might need to change the TV scale to 480p since wii isn't high def. Hope this helps.

Guitar Hero - the guitar plays on its own

Yes.

Radio frequency interference may cause the Wii Remote to work erratically. Check for wireless devices like cell phones, wireless computer keyboards or mice, or other similar devices, and move or turn them off.

Recalibrate the sensor after, make sure the connections are tight.

Now go get that 5 star on "Through the Fire and Flames"!

Unable to connect drums and guitar for guitar hero world tour wii

i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar). so far so good, seems to have worked.
