My mp3 player won't download my music files

What you should try is backing up your unit, if there are songs from any other source on your player
other than the one main computer you use.

Determine whether the entire load is less than 2 GB and if so, then reformat your MP3 player to make
use of space from songs which, though deleted from your player, (such deletions only decapitate the
file header) still may occupy significant disk space which is at a premium on your player.

Totally reinstall your player and then load your music onto same, leaving some headroom (some portion
of 2 GB i.e. 100 to 500 MB) on your player to allow for streaming of your music, which will enhance your
enjoyment of same.

Deleting songs.

Your DB might be corrupt. Folow the delete procedure one more time:
Delete Music Files
1) Connect your Sansa to the computer.
2) Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial
connection.
3) Select the place where you want to delete music files from
4) Highlight and delete the music file/s or folder from My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\MUSIC
folder. (You can also select from a variety of music
software programs to transfer/synchronize your files).

If that fails, go ahead and update the firmware - it will delete everything, and allow you to start over from scratch among other things.

Delete music

Hey pepsigr1629,

According to the manufacturer, there are two different ways to remove music files from this model MP3 player. The first method deletes the files directly from the MP3 player itself, and can be done while the player is in playback mode. You'll want to press the "Submenu" button and select "Delete" when individual songs are being played.

Alternatively, you can do it from your home computer by connecting the player to the computer, selecting "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer" when the initial connection is made, locating the folder where your files are stored, then highlighting and deleting the files.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

Downloading music

First, install the software if any that came with your mp3 player and connect your mp3 player. If you want to add music to your mp3 player you can sync with your media player or copy and paste songs from my music folder to your mp3 player that's under my computer. To delete songs or files just go to my computer, click on your device and you will see your files, just click on any ones and press delete on your keyboard. To download music for your mp3 player, you will have to pay for songs at most places like itunes. There is one site that is called LimeWire, just go to www.limewire.com, download and install the software. Let me WARN YOU, that limewire is ILLEGAL and there is stiff penalties if you get caught.

hope this helps you out a little.
