Is MP210 and MP240 the same? can i use the same cartridge?

Take this link to Canon, type in search window "change ink cartridges", scroll down and select "How do I replace ink cartridges". Detailed instructions will be displayed.

1st you must switch on the power. the lift up the scanner unit. The you will see the cartridge holder moving to the left hand side. And then you may insert the ink cartridges.

I work in a refill shop, and we have noticed that after refilling cartridges for Pixma MP210, they won't work.
Try holding the "resume" button (triangle in circle), for about 10 sec. for each cartridge- that should reset the cartridges (and usually it works with every Pixma printer, but almost never with the MP210, I really don't know why)
If that doesn't help, you should buy new cartridges.

I have a mp470. Try this before the driver download. Click Start, click all programs, select Canon utilities, select mp navigator, click on mp navigator again. On my pc this opens a window where I can select Scan/import from the platen or from a memory card. If this does not work here is a link to Canon to get your drivers. Note: turn off and uninstall your MP240 before installing the new drivers. Select your operating system from the list and select your desired drivers.

run software for both printers, then choose the one you wont to print from.

Open the cover and the cartridges will move to the left.
Then pop them out from the top toward you.
