I'm pretty sure it's referring to the OUTPUT bin.
check the sensors on the output bin, one may be stuck and registering the bin as full. Check both the top bin and the rear output bin.

My iRobot Roomba keeps showing full even after cleaning and wont run?

If Roomba continues to indicate the bin is full after you have emptied the bin, it means you have not thoroughly cleaned the bin full sensors and/or the sensor ports. After you have cleaned all six full bin sensors and ports, it may be necessary to clear the error by rebooting the robot.

ATIVA A16MC18 Shredder. The display says bin is full even after it's emptied.

Question edited for clarity.

Remove the bin and tip the shredder on its back. You should see a small LED that looks like a camera lens but tiny. Vacuum everything you can see in there with the soft brush attachment.

One of our other Hp Laserjet 9050dn printer displays 'Output bin full and Jam paper. What could be wrong.

There must be a problem with the output sensor, dirty, bent or clogged. Check all the paper paths and if possible reset the error code. Regards, Mike

How to output bin empty ?

  1. The output bin may be full. Empty the output bin. Printing resumes automatically.
  2. Take a close look at the flaps hanging out the exit of the printer. They should move up and down freely. If one of them is stuck up, broken or dislodged, then a bin full error is displayed.
  3. Open rear exit tray and power on the printer. If the printer comes to a Ready state, close rear tray and try printing.
  4. Clean the paper path below the toner area and exit assembly at the back of the printer. Ensure there is no pieces of paper stuck in the paper path of the printer.

REMOVE ALL PAPER FROM BIN ,OUT PUT BIN IS FULL Hi

Does not sound like a paper jam problem but a sensor problem sensor acurator is broken or out of place or the sensor is bad worse case the control that the sensors reports to is bad. Check you Output Bin Sensor acurator.

Problem with scotman ice machine model# sce275

The problem is more than likely that your bin sensors have calcium or scale on them. There are two on that model...one on each side of the evaporator plates. Remove the bin top and look for a nylon screw next to the plates...these hold the bin sensors in place. Lift the sensors up and scrub with a descaler solution. If none is available use 2 tbsp of bleach in one gallon water. replace the sensors and give it another try. If it shuts off again just replace the bin sensors.

Getting a false error message that the ink/toner is empty and wastebin is full when i print to my phaser 8860 from a macbook on 10.6 (networked printer)

The waste bin full error can occur if the waste bin was not removed from the machine for over 10 seconds when it was emptied. Please remove the waste bin and wait for a full 10 to 20 seconds before replacing the Waste bin.

If the message still displays turn off the machine and leave it off for 1 minute then turn the machine back on.

Then run software update to make sure you have the latest OS updates.

Then delete the printer and re-add the printer.

The copier is displaying (standard bin full)

On top of the printer, where the paper comes out of the machine, there is a flag on the leftside. After each page this flag is supposed to fall down again. If it is stuck or falling down to slow you'll get the "standard bin full' message.
