PS3 stopped reading PS3 games

Tried several things and determined the blu-ray lens are shot. Traded system in towards a new one from Game Stop. Not worth the expense of lens replacement, cleaning and overall frustration.

My ps3 stopped reading ps2 and ps3 games, dvd's and bluray disks altogether.

This happened to me with my 600.00 PS3 when they came out. Since I did not have my reciept I had to pay 90.00 and ship it to Sony. This actually happened to me right after I did an update.

Goto www.playstation.com and goto support. There will be a series of questions to answer to see if you need to send it in. My PS3 took about 10 days to come back to me.

sounds like a dead Laser they are a dual laser will read DVDs n CDs but wont read Blueray movies or PS3 games Laser might need replacing

you need new laser assembly if ever thing last forever u would never buy new things

make sure the disk is clean - clean it with a clean cloth or tissue in a circle around the middle of the disk. otherwise, try returning the disk to the shop which you bought it from

the ps2 console have all been acting up. my solution is to go out and get an upgrade (ps3)

the disc spinner stopped working so your either goonna have to buy a new system, some repair parts, send it in for repairs which is ova $100 unless u have a warranty.... i had got my ps3 in november of 07 and on this past thursday it stopped working. i opened it up and found out the reason..... you can go to this web site and and buy it for $79.99

a ps3 is supplied with a one year warranty as standard with sony. speak to them direct.
