I was wondering if I could get some help with a RCA F22715 32" TV, please. Was working fine, then got up one morning and tried to power on. No green light on top of set, remote wouldn't power it up. Power is dead. Checked fuse and its still good. Anyone know what I should check next?

I would check the (hot) or horzional out put transistor. Its possibly shorted. Also check the power supply for any other secondary fuses. They may look like a resistor, but they could be identifed on the pcb. Look at all the capacitors in the power supply to see if any are bulging on the top or leaking at the bottom. Alway replace any compoenent with the same value. Hope this is helpful.

Unplug the TV for maybe 10 minutes, then turn it on. Sometimes these units simply need to recycle. If that doesn't work, you've likely got serious problems.

Power problems

Most likely the power supply. The part number is 270530 and cost around $130. You would need a volt meter to test.

TV will not turn on--it tries green light turns on and off 3 to 4 times then quits

I was wondering if you have looked through your service manual or owners manual for troubleshooting the problem. If not you can get service manuals online at http://www.servicemanuals.net/results.aspx?type=SM&brand=424&model=F35750ST Quinn
