Power button unresponsive, always charging

Charge it up, remove the cable. The charging indicator is always on, even when not charging. The power button will work twice, once to turn it off and once to turn it on then the power drains. Charge it up again, remove the cable. Cycle repeats

The buttons do not respond even though unit is powere up

If the buttons on your Vista 350 phone are not responding despite the unit being powered up, there might be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the unresponsive buttons:
  1. Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the phone for any physical damage, such as water damage or visible cracks on the screen or buttons. Physical damage can hinder the proper functioning of buttons.
  2. Restart the Phone: Perform a restart or soft reset of the phone. This can help refresh the system and might resolve temporary issues causing unresponsiveness.
  3. Remove Battery (if possible): If the phone has a removable battery, power it down and then remove the battery for a few minutes. Reinsert the battery and power the phone back on. This can sometimes reset the hardware.
  4. Charge the Phone: Ensure that the phone has sufficient charge. Connect it to a charger and allow it to charge for a while. Sometimes, low battery levels can cause issues with responsiveness.
  5. Check for Software Updates: If possible, check if there are any available software updates for your phone. Outdated software might cause performance issues, including unresponsive buttons.
  6. Perform a Hard Reset: A hard reset will erase all data on the phone and restore it to its factory settings. Be cautious as this will delete all your personal data. If other methods fail, a hard reset might resolve software-related issues causing unresponsiveness. Make sure to back up your important data before proceeding with a hard reset.
  7. Contact Customer Support: If none of the above steps work, it's advisable to contact the manufacturer's customer support or bring the phone to a certified technician or service center for further assistance. They might be able to diagnose and resolve the issue, especially if it's a hardware-related problem.
Please note that performing a hard reset will erase all data on your phone, so it's crucial to back up any important information before proceeding with this step

My aceraspire4330 wont power on

you can try the power system check by doing the following:

To verify the symptom of the problem, power on the computer using each of the following power sources:
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Connect the power adapter and check that power is supplied.
3. Disconnect the power adapter and install the charged battery pack; then check that power is supplied by
the battery pack.

If you suspect a power problem, see the appropriate power supply check in the following list:
"Check the Power Adapter"
"Check the Battery Pack"

Check the Power Adapter
Unplug the power adapter cable from the computer and measure the output voltage at the plug of the power
adapter cable. See the following figure
1. If the voltage is not correct, replace the power adapter.
2. If the voltage is within the range, do the following:
* Replace the System board.
* If the voltage is not correct, go to the next step.
NOTE: An audible noise from the power adapter does not always indicate a defect.
3. If the power-on indicator does not light up, check the power cord of the power adapter for correct
continuity and installation.
4. If the operational charge does not work, see "Check the Battery Pack"

Pin 1: +19 to +20.5V (Centre pin)
Pin 2: 0V, Ground (Shielding / Surround)

Check the Battery Pack
To check the battery pack, do the following:
From Software:
1. Check out the Power Management in control Panel
2. In Power Meter, confirm that if the parameters shown in the screen for Current Power Source and Total Battery Power Remaining are correct.
3. Repeat the steps 1 and 2, for both battery and adapter.
4. This helps you identify first the problem is on recharging or discharging.

From Hardware:
1. Power off the computer.
2. Remove the battery pack and measure the voltage between battery terminals 1(+) and 6(ground).
(Terminal 1 is closest to the edge, Terminal 6 is closest to centre)
3. If the voltage is still less than 7.5 Vdc after recharging, replace the battery.

To check the battery charge operation, use a discharged battery pack or a battery pack that has less than 50% of the total power remaining when installed in the computer. If the battery status indicator does not light up, remove the battery pack and let it return to room temperature.

Re-install the battery pack.
If the charge indicator still does not light up, replace the battery pack. If the charge indicator still does not light up, replace the DC/DC charger board.

Zen problems

it may be in a low power state, try a different usb cable and hook it up to a desktop computer (laptop ports are sometimes not powerful enough to charge the battery when it is in a low-power state). I had this exact same problem and that fixed it!
