My kool space vintage keeper 220 wine cellar is not holding temperature. It runs, it shows the desired temp when I set it, but it is not cooling. I have unplugged it to try to reset, but no luck. It may have been related a power loss in the house but I am not certain it actually is. ideas?

Has the cellar ever worked right in your home? These small refrigeration units basically move heat from a conditioned space to another space that is not objectionable such as your home where your central air system then moves the btu's. This being said, the cellar has a ventilation system that must pull in room air and push out the box air. these vents must be clean and clear of obstrucions to ensure proper performance by the equipment

How to tell the year of a koolspace wine cooler

That will always depend on the Manufacture of your Koolspace Wine Cooler. If Koolspace keeps record's they will ask you for your serial number. It does appear you have an eliete model and brand name so I would think they are well ahead of the game.

Cannot get temperature below 65F. Probably need replacement cooler unit. Model: AZMN HAL Odyssey Approx Size: 9" H x 15.5" W x 14" D. Serial #: AA4-Odyssey-01201-121

I have never heard of a wine cabinet getting below that range? Has this unit every reach temps that low before? I would make sure the unit is breathing, check the condenser and air flow through the unit. If the unit is not choking, and temps can go below 65, than yes you will need to have it serviced. It can be a thermostat issue.
Good Luck

Cooling unit is running, but interior is not cool.

How long have you had this unit and did it quit suddenly or did it fail intermittently. Do you mean running where you can hear the fan and the light comes on when you open the wine cellar door? If so, I would suspect the starting relay failure on your cooler which should be very easy to replace. There should be a wiring diragram on the back of your unit somewhere and could be labeled (RT). Your compressor would be the last thing I would suspect.

My wine cooler is not reaching the set temperature. It stops at around 73 and the display flashed AL. Any ideas?

check to see if compressor cycles, if so you may have a thermistor problem which is intergrated with control, replace if you can find part. make sure to check evaporator, see if ice is forming if so you have a leak,or dry evap. you have a leak. repar.
hope this helps.

Koolspace 600 Problem

You'll need to replace the fan. The original fan bearings wear our after a couple of years. It's pretty simple to drill out the rivets and replace the fan. I suggest you replace all four with ball-bearing fan units.

Koolspace wine cooler

I have the Vintage Keeper Odyssey. I had the same thing the other day. Unit is 7 years old. Vintage Keeper web-site suggested to unscrew the control box and remove. (The box with the "Set" and Up and Down arrows. Unplug the wiring and sensor on the back and then plug back in. Plug in the unit and text. It took my "AL" away.

Unit doesn't cool very well. A coolant leak may be my problem. I was looking for solutions other than buying a new refrigeration unit.
