My 6600 phone keypad won't work??what should i do??i evenly change my housing?? actually the 456 button are the key that doesnt work,, please help me,,

The inner terminals of 4,5,6 and call (green) buttons are the same or common. If this line is cut or open these buttons will not work at all.

If the call (green) button works but the other three buttons do not work, just connect a thin jumper wire from the inner terminal of the call (green) button to any of the inner terminals of the 4,5, and 6 buttons.

If the four buttons do not work, make a thin jumper wire from any of their inner terminals to the terminal 4 of the keypad connector as show in the picture bmy 6600 phone keypad won't work??what should i - e65d98b.jpgrc="/uploads/images/e65d98b.jpg" alt="e65d98b.jpg" class="h_mi" />

If the buttons still do not work, reheat or replace the keypad filter ICs. Please refer to the picture below.

How to reformat the nokia 6600 ?

Turn your device off
Remove SIM card and MMC card (actually, you do not need to remove these, but after format remember to format memory card and reboot phone).
Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad Together.
Turn your device on while you are pressing the three buttons.
You should now see "Formatting .." on the Screen! Leave the buttons now.

Alternate way of formatting

press the keys *#7370#.
The phone would ask a confirmation.
Select yes
Then it will ask for a code
The code is 12345 (the default). If you changed the code, use that one.
Your phone will restart with all the phone memory formatted.

Keypad 1,4,7 is not working

think of tic tac toe 147 258 369 123 456 789 are key pad problems if other than that the problem is in phone circut. if you tinker on things and you can see that it is the kekpad go on ebay and find a parts phone and fix. if under warenty send phone back and get new one. (always use your warenty, thats what its there for).

first step,you should update your phone's firmware and then clean the keytone .If nothing have changed,you can change the flexible,check the keypad track and check the keypad ic,replace if needed. And Finally,rehot the CPU or replace it.
