You have to lay the tv on it's front on something to protect it from being damaged.on the back you'll see where the base joins the bottom of the display, this needs to be unscrewed and a wall bracket screwed in instead.

HOW TO REMOVE TV MOUNT?

http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/pdf/KDLV40XBR1_manual.pdf
The manual for the unit is available for download for free at the above link.
It does not actually say how to remove the stand, although it does mention a wall mounting kit available as an option.
Normally, one would turn the set upside down and look for one or more detent latches, which are springy plastic "tongues" that need to be depressed before the stand can be slid to one side and removed.

Sony Bravia KDL-32s2000 down from wall mount and can't find stand

Yes, Sony Parts has them available:
800-488-7669

The stand is $107.59, and requires four screws to attach to the TV. They're $2.25. (quite the bargain!)

The model number of the stand is X21033652.

Please rate my answer if it solved your problem.
