I had an E61.00 error on my Sony DSC-t7 camera. I tried the bumping on hard surface . I bumped it bottom edge down at the lens end about five times with increasing hardness of bump and then turning off and on again after each try. After about five times E: 61.00 error had gone. I can hardly believe it.

I had the same issue on my DSC-T10 with E:61:10 and I tried this using a handle of a screw driver cycle on off about 6 times and the error went away.
It really works!!! Thanks

I've been repairing TV's for over 15 years and I would say either a bad Tcon's or main board issue. Theirs no need to replace capacitors these days, you can get the main board from $40-60.
Have you tried using different devices on the unit? If your getting a snowy picture on a satellite receiver, check with your provider for troubleshooting guide their unit. Or let me know the provider and I can lead in you right direction.
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to repair the screen, you will need to get a replacement screen & this can be just as costly as purchasing a new TV so it might not be economical to get it repaired
Hello, The most likely reason is that the backup battery is drained. Change the backup battery. When you get the Ram Cleared message, just press [CLEAR] to erase the message and start using the calculator. Hope it helps.
Something we have all been wrestling with over the years, LOL. quality pictures in gloomy weather conditions
? I suggest using the flash as often as you can in those conditions, and get yourself a tripod. When the skies turn grey, there's less light, so the camera keeps the shutter open longer, which means more likelihood of a blurred image due 2 camera movement. Flash use speeds up the shutter, but will use more battery power. Another issue: with 100 ASA film, the flash is only good for about 12 feet. Distance improves with higher ASA film, but quality suffers due to film grain.
i just help the zoom to get out with a thin screwdriver and now the "ZOOM ERROR" message disappear, but i have another problem. The camera does not show the target (what to shoot) on the screen. It shows ONLY pictures on card.
I tried everything, but the target i choose does not appear on the screen.
