I really don't text message alot. Thie first 2 days I had my phone it was fine. Then an in comming text message from a strange phone number of 1121611611 keeps coming in every 5 min. I have spen 6-8 hours with cingular support they are telling me that it is not one of their phones. I bought new on E-bay saying it was a new cingular phone. The place i bought it from suggested this site. Cingular told me thru the IMEI # they
could tell it was not a phone that could be uses on there system. So I take out my sims car put it back in my old phone and everything is fine. I was told to repply to the message that said 453 invalid error and but stop this did not work among about 6 other thing we tried. Can anyone help?

The phone could be tapped in some way meaning some body could of hacked thoguth the imei number and that means when a message gets sent to your phone and u reply they can be taking your credit this might be the case but it has been known
That message is sent to the carrier by your SIM card (yes, the SIM card can send messages), the reason it reports a error is because Cingular somehow is just ignoring those messages and doesn't send your SIM card the answer it want, thus reporting an error.
Try changing the SIM to one from another company and see what happens. If nothing happens it's a Cingular's problem. Don't waste your time calling to the customer service center because the people that work there are incompetent and doesn't know the technical details under that error messages.

I have the same problem with two supposedly brand new razors I bought off ebay. I contacted the seller to see why I was receiving these text messages so often-because I don't send text messages. They referred me to this website, but so far it isn't very helpful.
