I have a circuit breaker that services the outlets in my master bedroom along with one outlet in the main bathroom and a dimmer switch for two lamps in my livingroom. The circuit breaker is located in a box in the garage, along with other circuit breakers that give me no problems. The sun heats up the garage every afternoon to between 70 and 80 deg., but mornings and nights the garage is in the 40s and 50s. Every day about 12:30-1 pm I lose power in my bedroom and the two other places I mentioned. I know the time it happens because a clock I have in the bedroom is stopped. Then when it starts getting dark around 5:30 to 6 pm I get the power in my bedroom back. This has been happening for a week now. Is it heat that is causing that circuit breaker to be intermittent? It is unlikely that those temperatures would cause the circuit breaker to shut off and come back on intermittently. (If the breaker trips it has to be reset manually.) It is possible that the breaker is defective internally or that there is a loose connection in the wiring. If you are not knowledgeable about electrical work you should have an electrician check it out for you.
