Im having trouble logging into facebook. For about 2 weeks now, when I try to login it tells me I have the wrong username/password combination. When I try to reset my password it tells me that my email address is invalid...even though this is the email address i have listed in my account and this is the email address all my notifications from facebook get sent to. I can still access Facebook on my iphone...but Im not sure for how much longer. Please help! Im living abroad for 2 years and really want fb to work so I can keep in touch with people! THank you.

    Thanks bahratt for your response but I think you misunderstood my message. I DO have access to the email account associated with my account. I get emails from facebook all the time telling me that someone has written on my wall, etc. Its the email acct listed on my facebook profile. The problem is that for some reason when I try to reset my password, or receive other help from Facebook regarding the problem I get emails back from Facebook saying that my email address is invalid and that they dont recognize it...even tho that's where all my facebook stuff gets sent.

    I have no idea what could have happened.

    Thank you bahratt for your help. I cant tell you how much I appreciate your efforts. The problem though with your second suggestion is that I cant update my email account on facebook to another email address I have because i cant login to facebook to do that. I can only get on facebook via my iphone and Im almost positive I cant change my email address using the facebook app.
    And unfortunately I have tried contacting facebook. I got a response about 2 months ago or so saying they would look into it, but I havent heard since.

    You're incredibly nice for taking the time out to help. I cant thank you enough.

I can’t receive the email to reset my password, because I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account. You can change your login email address at any time in the Settings ta... You can change your login email address at any time in the Settings tab of the Account page. Please note that you can log in with any email address you have added to your account. However, if you no longer have access to an email address associated with your Facebook account, you will need to contact your email service provider in order to regain access to that address.

    Have you tried contacting Facebook support, or I would update your email account on facebook to another email address you have, then save it, and then change it back to the original email address and see what happens?

Hi,
As You Say you cant able to log in to your Facebook Account...
do it.
Option 1>>
1> click on Forget Password
2> enter your mail id (facebook login id)
3> submit it.
4> go to / open / log in to your mail id & check the mail which is sent by facebook for password reset.
5> click on that link
6> enter a new password.
7> now try login to facebook with new password.

Option2 >>
Try other browser like if you use Google Chrome then try with Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer or Safari or Opera.

if you successful login with other browser then you use. then update or reinstall your old browser.

I have been trying to log in on Facebook for several times it keeps on telling me to reset when i reset it, it yells me i have been trying to reset it keeps on saying that over and over again it doesn't...
According to Facebook Support Page...
Facebook stores your password in such a secure way that we don't know what it is, and we can only check if it's correct. If you can't remember your password, you can request a new password.
If you can't log into Facebook and need to reset your password:
1.Go to the login page at https://www.facebook.com
2.In the top right, click Can't log in?
3.Type the email, phone number or username associated with your account, then click Search and follow the on-screen instructions

Point your web browser at http://www.facebook.com

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the little down arrow in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

yeah ive sent them about 4 messages, tried different password combinations, caps on caps off, all that sort of thing bu still to no avail im getting v.v.v.v.frustrated i havent been in 2 my facebook account for a week!!! GRRRRR!!!
