Have omega mars-22 goes through cycle like lock unlock doors security lights flash,but when you hit the start button on remote it does nothing,doesnt even try to start the truck worked fine before any help would be appreciated

It sounds to me like your system is currenty programmed with the Anti-Carjacking feature turned ON.
If by chance it's an Omega/Mars system see page 11 feature #7
See page 12, how to program these features.
See page 15 for more info on the Carjacking feature.

You can disable the chirp confirmation by using the following procedure

1. Turn the ignition on
2. Turn the ignition off
3. Press the valet switch 5 times, wait for the Status Light to flash twice, the parking lights to flash twice and the horn to chirp twice.
4. Press the valet switch 4 times, the MARS unit will respond with 4 Status Light flashes and horn chirps
5. Press the transmitter START button, the MARS unit will respond with 3 Status Light flashes and horn chirps
6. Turn thr ignition on to exit program mode

Find your Mars box. You will need to turn either the Smart Start adjust screw or the Tach Wire adjust screw until the LED LIGHT is blinking consistenly.

It is a common problem with factory remote keyless entry (RKE) systems when a remote start system is installed. Many RKEs will not operate when the ignition is powered as the case when engine is running under the control of the remote starter. There is no easy solution to get around this safety feature if you insist on using the factory remote to operate the door locks. The best option is to use the MARS-22 to control you door locks.

put your key in the ignition leave it in the off position, push your remote start button, if it starts then it has something to do with the transponder bypass "key in the box" or the loop around the ignition switch under the plastic cover
