Procedure entry point apsSearchInterface error message

I had the dwl-g122 usb adapter installed on my second computer for a while and all was running fine. The other day, I get an error message "the procedure entry point apsSearchInterface could not be located in dynamic link library wlanapi.dll". There doesn't even seem to be power now to the adapter. I have reinstalled the CD and there is still nothing. I do not have internet on this computer now. How can I fix this?

Try a reinstall of the software sounds like that wlanapi.dll isn't being "Registered" If installing on Vista or Win 7 use Admin mode and try Compatabilty Mode for XP SP2.

Uninstall any and all "Norton" application from your computer using the "Norton uninstaller". Then reinstall the network adapter drivers.
The norton firewall causes a HUGE LOT of problems to the network adapters.
Get another security solution, other than any "norton" product.

Installation DWL-G122

Hi Pipa, a code 10 usually refers to a faulty piece of hardware, meaning that there is no contact between hardware and pc, therefore the part may well be faulty.
