Hi, The washer will fail to spin if there is too much water in the machine, check the filter on the machine is not clogged or blocked if it's not then the pump could be suspect, normally you can hear it running on the spin cycle. it could also be the motor brushes are worn.
if its none of the above I would suggest that it maybe the pressure switch or pressure switch tube blocked other than that the last resort is the programmer or motor control panel.
Hi. Can you tell me? Does the washing machine sound noisier than normal in spin? Does it sound rough?
The grey marks could be drum bearing wear causing oil from the bearing to enter the washing machine. Sometimes you may see grey or black dots on your clothing.
If this is the case then repair cost is typically around £100 depending on where you live.
Your Fill valve Solenoid has failed. Some machines have an all-in-one type fill valve (hot and cold on the same valve - but different solenoids) some have seperate bodies for the hot and cold.

Could be a sticking water level switch, which controls the water level, or a blockage in the hose to the switch, or a trapped or split hose to the switch. the hose in question is about 6mm in diam, and goes from the sump hose to the pressure switch,if u remove the hose from the preesure switch chamber, check for a blockage there, and blow down the hose to see if it is clear, u should hear the switch click if it is clear, if no click and hose is clear, then I wud say the switch is faulty.

Hi,
Does the drum turn during the wash cycle?
When it comes to the spin cycle does it go through to the end without the drum turning?
It sounds like it could be the motor needs new carbon brushes.
Regards, Tom.
What is the clothes capacity of the machine; try to limit within capacity. Try the "spin only" function aft putting the clothes. Then put the machine off & continue with the main cycle.
