I think I am right in thinking that you need to signin with you Apple ID to get full permission on you email user accounts .it may be signed on to you husbands account.other work around is to login through a browser and view within the browser itself.
you will need a wifi router if you have cable youshould be able to pay for wifi through them or you can g pay about 150-300 bucks on your own personal hot spot and pay so much for wifi that way and then you could use your tablet wherever you want and have your own private wifi when you are out as long as you have the device with you.
If you buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab with 3g, the carrier will subsidize the initial cost but charge you for data per month just like a smartphone data plan. If you choose the wi-fi only version you will pay a higher cost for the device but WILL NOT have to pay a monthly fee, your internet will come from wireless routers, not 3G towers.
Disassembling Archos will void device's manufacture warranty. You should not do it yourself. There is some parts are very fragile will cause a permanent damage to the device. I will not recommend for you to do it yourself.
