It just began suddenly to not print black, nothing. Will not print printer test page. Changed black cartridge. It will print colors.
Do print head cleaning. Contorl panel>right click on c66 and go to printing preferences>maintenance tab>print head cleaning>do it 3 times and then try to print

The
ink reservoir doesnt have to be completely empty to fail. Replace the
cartridges. Some of the jets or all of them may be clogged especially if you
have not used your printer in a while. If there are cleaning instructions in
the manual clean the jets and then try to print from the printer's self test

Same here. Have tried cleaning nozzles several times, have tried leaving overnight and cleaning nozzles several times again, still will not print black.
I have excatly the same problem.. Nothing comes on the papers..?
It shows that all cartridges are ok, but nothing comes on the paper..
Nozzle check doesn't help at all

same problem, black ink not working, prints about one in three lines, mostly blank lines and what it does print is faint and half the line erased. It has a pattern though, always attempts to print one line then miss about 3 or 4 lines completly. Tried nozzle and head cleaning through on the printing preference -> maintainence.
same problem here with epson c66 not printing black with a full cartridge
Yup, same problem. I've run maintenance several times, but still no black. I just put in fresh cartridges, and the software is showing all the ink levels are full, so getting frustrated.
